Terms and Conditions

By completing any form contained within this website you confirm that you have read and understood the Terms & Conditions of booking a Teachers Trampoline Award course. You confirm that you are physically fit and free of injury and willing to fully participate in all physical aspects of the course. You meet the entry requirements stipulated below and acknowledge that course fees will not be refunded in any circumstances should you not meet the entry requirements, or fail to attend the booked course in full as specified above. You also acknowledge that attendance at any additional course(s) will have to be paid for in full should you cancel, fail to attend or complete the course as outlined below.

The Trampoline Training School reserves the right to cancel courses at short notice (5 days) if there are not enough candidates booked onto the course. Candidates will be offered alternative courses. If we cannot provide a suitable alternative a full refund will be given. The Trampoline Training School cannot be held liable for any aditional cost, expences or losses you may incur as a result of a course being cancelled at short notice.

If you need to cancel a booking you have made please inform us at least four weeks before the first day of the course by email. We are happy to transfer candidates onto another course organised by The Trampoline Training School but no refund will be given.

Please note: Candidates are not eligible to coach trampolining until they have received a certificate of qualification from British Gymnastics. This may take four to six weeks to receive.

Information on Eligibility for Part 1 & 2 Teachers Trampoline Course and Refresher Course

To be eligible for the course candidates must be a minimum of 21 years of age at the start of the course, fit to participate, with the ability to perform basic trampoline skills.

Candidates must be one of the following:

  1. Specialist trained PE teachers (this includes a specialist PE qualification gained abroad).
  2. Trainee PE teachers who are undertaking the Schools Direct, SCITT or “Teach First” programme, or who are about to complete their PGCE course (i.e. in their final term). Students in either their third or fourth year of training to be PE teachers can also take the award.
  3. Non PE specialists who are in possession of a current British Gymnastics Coach Award (Level 2) or higher in another discipline.
  4. Must have completed the 2 day Part 1 course for the Part 2.

N.B. Support assistants are not eligible for this course but might be interested in the Proficiency Award Course for PE Teaching Assistants
